- Greeting and registering patients.
- Performing basic triage of patients’ needs, scheduling patients based in triage level.
- Weighing patients, directing them into rooms.
- Answering telephone and email enquiries from patients. Note that we strictly do not give medical advice by telephone or email.
- Preparing laboratory results for doctor’s review. Scanning laboratory results and entering them
- into patient’s electronic charts. Faxing to family doctors.
- Providing basic ad-hoc support to doctors and nurses – for example helping them find items, basic
- IT support.
- Communicating with Xray technicians and pharmacies.
- Calculating current wait times, updating our website with this information.
- Strong command of English language.
- Comfortable with basic computer tasks
- Ability to multi-task.
- Experience with medical (reception)work.
- Pleasant with people.
- Able to cope with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to deal with stressed people, remain calm in an emergency situation, for example with injured people, or dealing with paramedics in a medical emergency.
- Must be absolutely punctual and reliable.
- Must respect medical confidentiality of patients.
- Must respect infection control/cleanliness standards.
- Additional language skills are not essential, but would be considered a bonus.

- Working hours: 2 to 4 shifts per week. Shifts are 5:45pm to 10:20pm Monday to Friday and 11:30am to 6:40pm Saturdays and Sundays.
